Benefit Performance: "Tings Dey Happen" for "Bowoto vs. Chevron" Dan Hoyle is donating a portion of the proceeds of his new show "Tings Dey Happen" to support Bowoto v. Chevron. The money will go to pay for things like plane tickets to bring 25 Nigerian clients over to San Francisco to testify when the case goes to trial. Bowoto v. Chevron is a pair of lawsuits in San Francisco against Chevron for Chevron's involvement in horrible human rights abuses in Nigeria -- murders, torture, the burning down of villages. Application Deadline: Biodiesel Intensive 2/18/07 - 2/23/07 This course will give you the tools to start a biodiesel filling station in your town or city. Walk away with a vision, finished business plan and everything you need to make this happen! The class will use Jennifer Radtke's zine as a text book and will include hands-on experience at the BioFuel Oasis. We encourage 2-3 people interested in starting a business from the same area to come to the class together.
